What do a winemaker, a salesman, a garage door installer and a veterinarian have in common? They’ve all dreamed of owning their own brewery.
Three years ago, Phil, Rohan, Cam and Mike decided to test the strength of their friendship by building a micro-brewery in Victoria’s Yarra Valley. They had never applied for a liquor license, let alone written a business plan, but in June 2007 Coldstream Brewery opened to the public.
